A story built on passion, experience, and trust

Ecalator.ro is more than just an online store. It is the result of over 20 years of experience in outdoor, sports, and automotive equipment, built step by step with passion and a strong sense of responsibility.

Behind this project is Radu Petrescu, founder of ecalator.ro, with extensive experience in the industry:

  • 10 years at Thule (Retail Manager & Product Manager)

  • 2 years as Head of Online Department at Himalaya stores

This experience laid the foundation for a clear goal:
👉 Creating a store where customers can find only products they can trust.

How It All Began

Launched in 2021, ecalator.ro is a family business built on the desire to bring a carefully curated selection of premium products to the Romanian market for active people.

The project has its roots in earlier initiatives such as The Bag Man, which was featured on the homepage of Himalaya stores at the time as their main partner for equipment and accessories.
